Preparing our children to be responsible digital citizens

To participate in a technologically sophisticated society now and into the future, students need the knowledge, skills and confidence to make Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) work for them at school, at home, at work and in their communities.

It is also important that students learn how to limit the risk to themselves and to others and to become good digital citizens. Digital Citizenship is a concept which helps teachers, technology leaders and parents to understand what technology users should know to use technology appropriately.
